Kraftsman Cabinetry
The Challenge
Kraftsman Cabinetry, a leading distributor of RTA (Ready-to-Assemble) cabinetry for the professional builder/contractor market, has partnered with JAST to expand their online sales channel. Their existing (previous) e-commerce platform looked professional, but it fell short in these key functional areas:
Kraftsman needed a scalable system that streamlined ordering, honored unique pricing agreements, and simplified repeat purchasing. JAST delivered a custom-built solution that met these needs while also improving internal efficiency.

Dynamic Pricing Implementation
Kraftsman Cabinetry’s sales are oriented around servicing high volume construction and fabrication firms. Each established customer has negotiated pricing with Kraftsman Cabinetry based on historical order volume. JAST built over two dozen unique pricing structures to correspond to Kraftsman’s existing pricing agreements.
We implemented a custom catalog and pricing management system integrated with their ERP to allow for product uploads, customer-specific pricing, and various delivery and assembly rates. Leveraging advanced algorithms, pricing adjustments were automatically applied based on customer tiers, offering commercial accounts the ability to log in, see their own pricing, and place orders or job bid requests seamlessly, online, without needing to speak directly with Kraftsman staff.


Customer Order Management Portal
A critical component of this project was a customer portal to make it easier for Kraftsman customers to save pending orders, view past orders, re-order past orders, and apply PO tracking.
Further customization was needed to support different customer types that allowed or limited certain kinds of orders, delivery, and payments based on the customer’s location and account rep.
Website Design and UX/UI Enhancement
Our team redesigned Kraftsman Cabinetry’s website, prioritizing intuitive navigation and ease of finding coordinating units. We aimed to optimize user experience, streamlining browsing and product selection across Kraftman Cabinetry’s 54,000 SKUs.
Through strategic layout adjustments and enhanced functionality, we aimed to create an immersive online platform that showed immediate and significant increases in sales over their previous platform.
Due to Kraftsman’s customers typically being highly experienced in the cabinet trade, Kraftsman has relied on simple 2D line drawings to show their products. While JAST has recently begun creating size-accurate 3D renders of their SKUs, the results below are from prior to this update.

results & conclusion
The results of this project are a testament to JAST Media’s firm belief that large scale B2B companies that want to increase sales can experience results without waiting for a full digital transformation, or switching to a new ERP/WMS.
