Product Database
Central to Advanced Hardware Supply’s digital strategy was the management of a vast product catalog comprising over 40,000 SKUs. Recognizing the importance of efficient data organization, we developed a comprehensive product database tailored to their specific requirements, including images, product information, specification data, and size variants.
JAST Media was able to pull comprehensive product details for top selling product categories using a series of data scraping, standardization, and verification AI tools.This database not only facilitated seamless inventory management but also enabled real-time updates and accurate product information dissemination across the website, ensuring consistency and reliability for customers.
Customer portal and Dynamic
Pricing Implementation
Our customer portal system allowed buyers to look up in-stock quantities at each of their locations in real-time, as well as product pricing including customer-specific negotiated price discounts which vary by SKU and manufacturer per client.
Our new portal also allowed buyers to build and submit order requests tied to job POs, a critical function in the commercial construction space.
results & conclusion
Distributors are rarely able to take a project of this scale to market within a year. By breaking the challenge into separate parts and solving each facet separately, we were able to help Advanced Hardware to go market with their new commercial accounts portal without requiring any software changes or updates, and going to market far faster than competitors.
